Principal - Matthew Campbell Gill (Matt)
Matt is a father of 3 children who has been based on the Gold Coast for the last thirty years. Matt attended local schools and in 1991 joined the Queensland Police Service. During his time in the QPS Matt obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University graduating in 1998. In 2001 Matt was admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland, as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003 and is a registered Solicitor in the High Court of Australia.
Matt has been heavily involved in the local sporting community and is about to commence his 21st season as a 1st Grade Cricketer on the Gold Coast and also keeps active by participating in soccer, golf, swimming and weights.
Solicitor - Scott Kerrigan
Scott has lived on the Gold Coast since 1981 where he attended Keebra Park State High School. Scott completed his law degree at Bond University in 1999 and was admitted as a Barrister in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia shortly thereafter. In 2002 Scott was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and Australian Capital Territory.
Scott has worked for a number of local law firms before travelling to the United Kingdom in 2007 for 18 months where he was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Whilst in the United Kingdom Scott worked in the commercial property team of a large commercial law firm which managed property portfolios in England on behalf of financial institutions and private investors some of which exceeded AUD$140 million in value.
Scott has now commenced a litigation practice within MCG Legal where he is undertaking civil, commercial, construction and estate litigation, will preparation and estate administration, personal injury claims and body corporate law. Scott has conducted litigation in all Queensland Courts and Tribunals as well as New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and he prides himself on his accessibility, level of client care and honest advice which has resulted in re-establishing relationships with many clients for whom he undertook work prior to returning from overseas.
Prior to working as a Solicitor Scott worked in the Queensland Police Service for 13 years, 8 years of which were as a Detective.

Every law firm has an engine room and Kim and Yvette are certainly that at MCG Legal. Between them they have over 34 years of experience within the local legal industry. Yvette has excellent knowledge in commercial and leasing matters and Kim is our practice manager who also has vast experience in wills, estates and litigation.
Conveyancing - Tiffany Lash
Tiffany has grown up locally and is MCG Legal’s conveyancer working directly with Matt. Tiffany is an experienced conveyancer and prior to entering the legal industry was previously employed in the Real Estate Industry.
