About Matt Gill

Matt is the Managing Partner of MCG Legal.  He was first admitted as a Barrister in
Queensland on 12 June 2001 before becoming a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 23 December 2003. Matt is also registered as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court. 

As a former police officer, Matt understands people have different points of view, backgrounds and motivations. He sees himself as a problem solver, capable of finding the best solution in an often tough situation. Matt strives to keep learning and pushing forward. Under his direction, MCG Legal has grown from 3 to 15 employees, a success he attributes to guiding his team to be self-motivated.

Matt is a married father and stepfather to six children.  Matt was schooled on the Gold Coast and remains active within the local community through sports.  Being an active participant for over 33 years, Matt was the former President of Cricket Gold Coast and still plays locally as a member and President of the Mudgeeraba Nerang and District Cricket Club, where his boys also play junior cricket.
